will i regret an abortion if i dont think ill regret it now?

have you regretted an abortion after the fact even though you were confident you wouldnt beforehand?

Coming from someone who has had two previous abortions i wouldn't say i regret it i will def say i wonder WHAT IF? sometimes especially more now because i just had my daughter and i can't get over how having a child is such a miracle/blessing. but i was pretty young when i had my abortions. my advice to anyone considering abortion is to think it thru 1000% because after you get it done there is NO turning back.

I've never had an abortion so I can't say from experience but I can say that there is always a chance that you will regret something, even if you don't think so at the time.
Either way, you need to make the decision that is best for you and remember that there may be regrets no matter what decision you make.

every girl i know thats had one regrets it, some right away and some years later. i dont know why they were ok at first and THEN regretted it, but they do and i dont ask because its obviously a touchy subject for them. i wouldnt do it just because you could never take it back and im sure that regret hurts more than other regrets judging at least from what i've seen. adoption is a good idea, if you dont want the baby at all, then someone will and then when youre ready you can have one/

I had an abortion thinking I would regret it every day - nd it turned out - I was fine with it. No regrets really.

If you decide to have one, you must have a good reason. If you end up regretting it, just keep reminding yourself of your reasons and maybe you can find peace in that.

how many is "every girl you know" because many people get abortions for a specific reason. Regardless of the reason of course it'll be a touchy subject...its an abortion...not some field trip. Its a hard decision to make. Adoption is even harder to go through and also can have regrets...depends on how strong you are.

I know 3 people that have had one and not one regret. They are all much better in life now.

I didnt regret mine because I really thought it through and was confident in the decision but from time to time I still get sad about it but I would not go back and change it at all.

four teenagers and three adults, all pretty different personalities so not like they would all have the same reason. adoption can definately be hard but not always. it depends on why she would regret it, if she might regret it from a moral standpoint or just because she wishes she had that baby, because i know sometimes the feeling of not being ready can come and go (idk why i cant get this off 'bold') but if its a moral thing for her then adoption would ease her a little bit. my aunt didnt think it was immoral, then she got the abortion, and now for whatever reason she feels like it was wrong and that kind of regret is the worst. if its just based on whether or not she will decide to want a baby later on, that can be fixed by getting pregnant again. i would just think it through and decide WHY you might regret it,
