Weight Watchers Journal

I signed up for Weight Watchers today. My first meeting will either be tomorrow or Tuesday. I have to talk to husband about which day he thinks works best for us since he'll have to watch the kids.

I am SO excited! I did it once before (like 6 years ago, lol) and it worked well while I stuck with it. So wish me luck =D

ETA: I decided to also use this to track my progress with weight watchers!

Starting weight: 180
5/28/12: 177.9
6/04/12: 180
6/11/12: 177.5
6/18/12: 174.6
8/15/12 164.8
10/23/12 162.0
02/05/13: 154.4

So I've done two days on weight watchers. So far I really like it! I am not hungry (unlike when I tried to 1200 calorie thing) but I do see where I am not eating all the crap and larger portions I was eating! I am eating lots more fruits and veggies.

First day went well, 2nd day I decided to use some of my weekly points for a bigger dinner since husband made ribs, lol. I LOVE the idea of the weekly points, because it gives me the ability to "cheat" while still keeping it reasonable!

Thursday is my first WW meeting and I'm soooo exited and nervous!

Starting weight is 180, and I'll be doing weigh in's on Monday for now.

I signed up for weight watchers online about 2 months ago. I have lost 8lbs and yo be honest I haven't been following very well lol getting back on track this week. I love how visual it is and really makes me think about what I am eating before I eat it .

That's great! I love weight with it before. It made me sad when I looked bad at my progress. I hadn't realized I'd gained 20lbs since then. . . lol

I didn't go to meetings before, but I really thin it will be good for me.

I like it because it makes me think about what I'm eating also. Like, for breakfast, I'd usually have like 3 or 4 pancakes and a BUNCH of syrup. This time I had ONE pancake and measured out syrup and ended up using a ton less syrup but it was still wonderful! Also, I made 3 egg whites scrambled with salsa on top =D 3 point breakfast!

You can post in here too if you want! We can help keep each other motivated!

I was good! That's the thing I feel like it's helped me with so far, is really thinking about what I'm eating instead of just shoving it in my face. I go "do I really NEED a whole pile of syrup? Nope. Just a little and I'm still way satisfied for FAR fewer points!

I have the monthly pass thing, so I have etools also.

My only complaint is the fruits/veggies thing. . . I'm not sure how I feel about them being 0 points. If you make a recipe though, they'll come out to not being free anymore. It's really frustrating and I'm not sure what I should do about it.

It's Monday! That's my day to weigh myself. I'm at 177.9 which means a 2.1 loss. I don't attribute this all to the new diet, lol, since my 180 was in the middle of the week and I don't think it was at the start of the day (just weighed myself quick to sigh up).

Still, SUPER happy!!

=D

I used up some of my weekly points yesterday as well. I like to make a nice meal on Sundays haha. I weigh in on Sundays and yesterday I lost 3lbs. Which was surprising because I wasn't really trying last week. Buy back at it today

I ate my points for today but I want more pizza. Husband made GF homemade pizza. I am SO tempted to use up weekly points, but it's only flipping Monday!

Why did he make me such tasty pizza>

Okay, today was the next weigh in. It was bad, but I expected it to be. Husband has been on vacation the last week so we ate really bad. lol. Also, AF is here, and that always makes me gain a few lbs.

Oh well! My first meeting is tomorrow and I'm excited about that! Also, I started insanity today. I barely made it through the fit test, haha. I'm excited though! It was fun and I really like the guy who does it MUCH better then the Jillian Michaels stuff. So here's to staying within my points this week, haha

Last night was my first meeting!

I was really fun and I am really excited about it. It's nice to have once a week to "check in" and be accountable. Also, I feel like it gets me back into the groove if I get tired of it. It's like a pep-talk.

I am the youngest person there. There is one other maybe in her twenties, but most are in their 50's or so. However, they're all really nice and the leader had tons of great ideas!
