n00b reference post....get answers here

You all may have come to this site wondering if you're pregnant, who your baby's daddy is, if you've lost your mucus plug, and whether or not your IRS rebates will be in the mail. This one handy dandy post should clear ALL of that up. Let's start with the basics.

This is a positve pregnancy test:
You pee on the end that is covered with the pink plastic. Two lines will show up if you indeed have a bun in the oven.
Next topic, who put that bun there? Maury will test something like 20 men to help you determine this. If your family photo looks something like this:

then chances are there really is no question now is there?
Mucus plugs....ahhh the mucus plugs. You've determined that you're pregnant and are now nearing the end of your pregnancy. You may be experiencing Braxton Hicks (or gas or preterm labor or indigestion, you get the idea). A mucus plug looks like so:
