Take your preemie out for the 1st time & where did you go? I had my daughter at 36w4d she weighs 4 lbs 13 oz and in 3 weeks my family is having a little bbq with about 5 people there and she will be 3 weeks old is this too soon?

OMG my little porker was 36 wks and 6lbs 9 oz! lol Make me wonder how big she would have been at 40 wks. lol

I think that's kind of early. But some people will probably say it's okay as long as your baby is properly clothed and wrapped up.

I took my son over to my mother's within a few days. He was born at 36 weeks on the dot and came home after a week in the hospital (so he was about two weeks old when he first left our house and went to another place for several hours). He started coming on errands with me by about a month old, maybe a little less.

I started taking my daughter out within a few weeks.

I had my baby at 31 weeks... she was in the nicu for 2 1/2 weeks. When we brought her home there were 4 kids under 5 and 4 adults. She never got sick until she was 6 months old. I think she'll be fine!

Three days after we got out of the hospital we went our niece's birthday party [he was 2 weeks old then - born at 35wks&6days]. Our pediatrician said it was okay but not to have him outside all day.

I just had my daughter 3 weeks ago at 36 1/2 weeks she weighed 4lbs 10 oz at birth and i took her out with me when she came home. as long as you keep the baby warm and dressed properly and dont let anyone whose sick get real close to her you should be fine (: but its really all how you feel about it
