What do you think???

posted 2nd May
I was talking to this girl on myspace she was telling me how she was sorry for my loss and asked me when I was gonna start TTC again I told her I'm on my first period and were gonna start trying right away and that I got OPK test because last time before I was pregnant it took 7 months and that was with just going with the flow and now using anything so me and my fiance decided we'll give the OPK's a try, and she says that I most likely won't ovulate and that most women don't ovulate for a couple of months after a m/c. But after my m/c like 3 weeks later I know I O'd even though I didn't use the ovulation test I had the CM to prove it lol but I was wondering do you think what she said was true that I won't ovulate this month even though I had a period???

No Everyones body is different, but if you have never had prob with your mensus you ovulate right on schedule...   you are ok to ttc

I've heard the opposite...that you are really fertile after an mc. I haven't ever heard that you don't ovulate. I know I O'd too about 2 weeks after my mc. Like Alisa said, every woman is different but if you were normal before there is no reason it should change now.

Yeh I heard that to but she was making it seem as if I was less fertile. I don't know I should just stop stressing off of it, and thank you girls for you opinions I started tripping badly lol but you girls made me feel better.

Yeah, I'm concerned about being less fertile too. I think it's only natural after an mc, but it sounds like you are doing all that you can to find out when you are fertile. I'm sure you will be just fine!

Thanks I really hope the OPK's work for me but if not I'll just figure out when I O on my own FF is such a big help.

I've never heard about the no ovulating thing either. I know you're super fertile right after too. I wish you lots of luck, but I just want to warn you that OPKs aren't totally reliable. I tried them when we were TTC and I never got a positive out of them, but we still got preggo so just trust yourself and don't put too much hope into them.
