It can eat up your memory. I would get a portable hard drive to also store them on. Just in case your computer crashes you don't lose all of your pictures!

thanks, i've already put so many pictures on cds Im just being lazy I always put it off & say I will do it later but I just don't wanna crash my computer before I get around to it lol!!!

so am I lol I think im helping myself out, instead of burning them to cds I go through my folders and delete the ones I don't like to make more space im guessing lmao!!!

Save all your photos on photobucket.
that way if something DOES happen to the computer you still have them.

Plus that way they aren't taking up space on the puter.

yah that's a pretty good idea but can't anybody hack into those accounts I would'nt want my personal family picturesout in the worldlol!!!

you can password them if you want though.

I don't know who would want pictures of our kids soooo bad that they would hack past a password though.

me too... but i have a portable hard drive and i usually upload all my pictures on snapfish.com so my mom can see them. so they are double backed.

Amazingly my computers haven't went crazy from all my pictures...i have tons upon tons and tons of folders of pictures... but like, you do have to be careful with how many you put on and always back them up... either on a site or a removable harddrive or something... or if you're like me and you have extra computers, have them on the extra computer as well so they're easy to get too, I have like 3 computer with similar pictures just incase i loose them, But as much as i take pictures, I always go through and delete the ones I dont like, then upload the ones i do onto a site like photobucket and you're doing really good saving your pictures to cd's, just make sure you keep them somewhere safe.

Wow sorry for rambling on all about pictures

instead of using photobucket to store them you could always just send them to yourself in an e-mail. That way you can have them no matter what and not worry about someone getting them.

With photobucket I don't think you have to worry about someone "hacking" into your account... I think what you would want to do is make it private so that you had to give out the information for someone to view it and that way they couldn't take your pictures.
