6 days...

UNTIL MY C SECTION...not my due date. So pissed off that I don't have much of a choice about the section, other than putting myself at risk.

If you don't know my story... my blood pressure is the main reason for a 39 week c section. I also had one with my son.. This pregnancy has been tough as far as risk of pre-e (some docs say I have it, some say no, some say it's borderline...whatever it is, it's a concern). My platelet count is also dropping. So the docs are not wanting me to go past 39 weeks. YES I know I can refuse, but honestly I'm just scared.

Anyways.. Today's appts were not too bad! I had a NST this morning, and she was concerned about my BP.. then noticed I was contracting pretty regularly. Within the 15 min period, she counted at least 10 contractions, saying the last ones were about 3 minutes apart.
A few hours later, I had my regular OB appt. I'm up to 30lbs gained, which sucks because the last 5 have GOT to be mostly water...lol. At my last appt (Thursday) I was a tight 1cm and thick. This appt, I was almost 3cm. Good enough that she stripped my membranes and gave me some hellish contractions for about 10 mins. She said the baby dropped and she could easily feel her head.. YAY! I still look big and high, but we figure the baby is just long like her brother and is stretched out.

Since then.. I've still been contracting every 3-5 minutes apart.. Maybe about an hour total of no contractions in 5 1/2 hours. Not VERY consistent, not VERY painful, but it's GOTTA be doing something, right?

Anyways..to end my rant, I just want to know if any of you ladies have any advice on how to get labor to progress? I'm going for a walk shortly.. sex probably later tonight.. Guess I'll try the nip stimulation again. I'm just really freaking out, because I have 6 days until my scheduled section, and I really want to have a natural delivery.

For all the nay sayers.. Please don't be mean.. I know NORMALLY baby would come on her own, but we have a timeline. She HAS been monitored each week with NSTs on Tuesdays and biphysical profile ultrasounds on Fridays. She is doing well, she's developed and would be fine born between now and next Tuesday. I'm 38 weeks today, not 30, so please don't be mean! I'm just desperate for a VBAC!!

Well I was almost 40 weeks and we were having alot of sex to try and get it going because I hadn't dilated and his head was still high..I think it's what ended to my water being completely gone at my last BPP a few days later...Because I hadn't felt any gush of water or anything..ended up turning into an emergency c-sec after 2 1/2 days of labor...I bet if you had sex it would have to do something, or kick something into jumpstart mode lol

YAY only 6 days!!! I can't wait to see her. I hope she comes for you naturally love!

I had a slow leak with my first daughter, tried to have natural birth but after 24 hours of labor we had to do an emergency c-section. This pregnancy is a repeat c-section, gotta be honest even if it is a TMI moment had sex this morning (it is really uncomfortable for me too but once I relaxed i felt like I opened up a little) she has been pushing down a lot more, and it really seems as if having sex has made her react. Now I'm not trying to jump start labor I still have 20 days til my c-section date (4 days before my due date) but I'm not gonna stop having sex unless the doctor says I have to.

I had sex last night too.. But the only thing is, I think SO gets extra excited cuz we really have sex like once a week since it's so uncomfortable... meaning, it doesnt last long. Like 10 mins. I didnt come close to getting off either. I had a few good contractions though.. But then fell asleep and only a few today  
I've been given the all-clear to do whatever it takes to get this baby out.. Seems nothing is working!

I feel horrible today though. HORRIBLE. I don't know if it's my body preparing for labor or what.. I've had loose stools (sorry) twice already, I feel like my heart is beating so hard.. I want to puke, and I feel so dizzy.. I just feel off...

That all sounds good honestly, keep it up is all I can say. I had some contractions this morning after sex and then more again this afternoon/evening. Hoping for more later agter that though. Hopefully we'll be able to get these babies out lol
