the hospital tour...

i hated it!!! only because they start you off in the labor and delivery room which is perfect and all so nice...then bamm...a scary,nasty looking recovery room then two to three hours after having your your baby your shifted off to a small ass post p. room to which you share with another...to all the mothers who already had their sweet bundle of joys...can you shed some light on your hospital stay...were u moved from room to room three times? basically how was your hospital stay experience?

i loved my hospital stay. i was in one room the whole time. it was big and had a nice tv lol  

I moved from a L&D room to a pp room, but I liked both rooms and my pp room had a couch and everything so my hubby could spend to nights with me. It was like a hotel room with room service, tv, etc.  !

I would defignately like that at all... I would possibly consider switching... I stayed in one room the ENTIRE time and you have no idea how nice that was, when you've gone through that much i couldn't imagine switching rooms all the time.

I had a labor room and a PP room... both private! My hospital doesn't let moms share rooms.

It was awesome. Free TV, room service, phone, and radio. It was like a sterile hotel room!

The only thing I hated is that I had her in the bed, and it didn't get anything on it or anything but it was really hard and they had told me they were going to put a different mattress on it but they never did. That pissed me off lol. That was my only complaint though.. I'm sorry your hospital doesn't give you much privacy  .

what!!! see now im jealous...thats exactly what im looking for...pampering after delivery!!!

I was in the hospital for 2 months...i never want to step foot in one again.

My hospital stay was awesome with my first, at my hospital you deliver in the room that you stay in and your baby stays with you the whole time. There is even a bed for the father to sleep on or whoever you want to stay with you. It was completly private! I'm sorry you have to be moved 3 times, I would so hate that!

me too...i would not wanna share rooms, i mean you would have to share a bathroom with her too, and blood does get on the toilet..just gross...luckily my hospital don't have shared rooms..oh and there is a bed for daddy too..and a room for him to go get food out of too.
