Gerber recall?

My husband saw something posted on facebook about a gerber banana baby food recall. It said return all jars with 2012 expiration dates because they may contain glass. Now... I remember this happening a few years ago but I don't remember hearing anything about this in the past week or so. So is this legit or just old news?

Old news... it was ONLY on france and it was bananas exp. Oct 2012.

i heard that months ago, loooong time ago. i think if it was very serious they would cast it in the news and stuff like that.

Nothing on the gerber website. I would say old news.

That post is a hoax. Something like that happened, but only in france and it was a long time ago. I called the 1800 number to Gerber when I seen that post a few months ago.
