mucus plug?

Every time i sit up or even if i am just standing for a little while like doing the dishes i feel a little gush. At first i thought i pissed myself but when i go to the bathroom i see a white/watery blob in my underwear. It doesnt smell at all like pee so i dont think its pee....could it be my plug?

Hi I had the same thing with my son it could be does it have any kind of brown or pink streaks in it? This happens and i would get checked out sounds like you are leaking water and loosing your mucas plug, I have had 5 children on #6 we love Children Good Luck and keep me posted  

There is no brown or pink what so ever just white and watery. Thanks for your insite you must be a pro by now  

Lots of discharge is normal at the end

Thanks   I hope so by now hey lol... well if you start to feel any cramping then you know you are probably in labour but from past experiance i would not wait to long if you are having leakage you do not want any infection setting in, If you can try to get in and see the Dr Asap Good Luck i will be keep my eyes posted for any up dates

We're due the same day! I've had the slimy,thick snot-like discharge,it was white,then it turned green.Doctor said it's normal for the end.I always leak discharge now.We're almost done,so our bodies are cleaning themselves out!

I have had the discharge for a little while and my doc said it was totally normal the gush thing is new. It doesnt happen every time i sit up its kinda random.

I have been having cramps and i told my doc about them and he said they sound more like contractions than BH. At the most i have 2 a hour he told me to go into L&D if i have 7 a hour. I hope he isnt trying to make his grand entrance he needs to cook longer.

I noticed that to when i was reading another post   our due date is coming up fast. How are you feeling about labor? Its nice to know your getting the discharge also

The fact that you are saying it happens ( the gush) when you sit up that is where you need to go get checked out by a doc. because that does not sound right I have had mucus discharge with my other babies and never a gush just chunks of mucus so I would to be safe go see ur doctor.

Well I've had the same exact discharge you're describing and I've had it "gush" out..I say squirt, lol, but both are equally gross. I'm going to mention it to my midwife next time I go in, but last time I briefly said something she didn't really seem concerned. And I'm pretty sure it's not water leaking as it started happening almost a month ago.
