Getting Induced 39 wk appt

So i went in today for my 39 week appt. and mycervix has notthinned out and i havent dialted at all  ... so my dr said that she will induce me on thursday ... the only thing is that when ur cervix is not really ready yet and you induce labor you can end up with an emergency c-section ... so i am a little worried about that... hopefully i will make some progress between now and thursday!!!! Any May mommies in the same boat as me???

I am getting so anxious for Ava to get here! I went to my 39 week appt and was still dilated to 1CM like the week before, but my cervix was 50% thinned.. I hope its more now! I don't have another appt until Thursday, which puts me a few days over due.. I hope that she comes before that! I would suggest just walking a LOT and doing squats... anytihgn to get that cervix going!!!! :-)

i go in on thursday to get the induction process started too!! its going to be the longest week ever lol its our last weekend without a newborn!

I went to my 37 week appt this morning and I am completely closed and my cervix is still thick. I am beginning to feel like I may be preggo forever. I should have figured that I would be the one to never dilate........

ive dialated a cm more everytime they check, but i have a short cervix, i dont know if that has something to do with it.

AND its your last week to be getting full nights of sleep   haha...if you can that is. I would be soo anxious I probably wouldnt be able too. I didnt start dialating until I went into labour I guess but my cervix was thinned by like 35 weeks. Good luck to you mommies 2 be!

i ended up not having my last weekend to rest.. i went into labor sat. morning ha ha she has good timing!!
