question about being induced??

Okay so right now i am a day over due and have no signs of labor pains or nothing they started last week and stopped.. i have an appt today, what are the chances of them inducing me today?? considering im going to the dr's by myself because im arguin with my bf and i dont want him there lol

If there is no medical reson for induction they probably wont do it .

Where I go at 40weeks they will run some tests and decide to induce me that day or wait until may 20th. But I am ganna throw a big cranky fit and bawl my eyes out so that they induce me when I go for my 40week check up

well, if it was my dr, he would schedule an induction. It would probably be for later today or tomorrow morning. You really should try to make up with your BF though, you dont want to bring a little one into an already emotional state. The only emotion should be happiness. Cause once the baby is born you two wont talk much about your relationship.

They may go ahead and schedule an induction for next week or the one after if the baby hasnt come by then but I doubt they will induce today unless your blood pressure is extremly high or something.

Haha, I'll come.. for some reason I am all hormonal today and could do some fussing, I already cried so I may not have any tears left..=(

my dr made a date for induction for 41 weeks wanted to see if maybe she would decide to get out. i think most doc will make one in advanced not right over dd Brooke came 8 days late so u might have a few more hang in there and GL

yea i no but i cant take much more hes going to be there at the hospital when i give birth but thats it!! but does being induced hurt more or about the same because everyone i talk to says more

i was induced nine days early... just because. The doc said she was fully developed and if we wanted to we could, so we did. I had the epi. so I don't know if it hurts any more or less. =) I've heard people say that if you go into labor naturally to stay at home as long as you can because you're more comfortable there than in the hospital. Being comfortable eases a lot of the pain.

lol, why is this in Sex & Relationships?! Haha, and I doubt they'll induce you today, if they do, they usually set up a date, unless you're 4cm and effaced, then they might say they'll induce you that night!

yea so anyway i went to the dr and they said he was in postion and perfect and they werent going to induce me today unless i really wanted to considering this is my first and its okay to be late... so by wed if im not a mommy i will be!!

YA! Congrats girl! I'll be a mommy on Tuesday! Maybe Monday late late night!
I go in for my induction at 7:30pm...

Just to save time : I have high BP and very narrow pelvic bones and we don't want baby getting too big..=)
