My friend's mom is currently in the beginning process of a divorce and right now are legally separated and child support and visitation have been set by a temporary court. I'm not sure if its because a divorce is pending or just because they are separated but I would just plan on those things being handled with a separation case since LO will only be living with one parent unless a 50/50 agreement can be met.
