Shark Vaccum, best? Also steam and swiffer

posted 19th May '12
Which shark vacuum is better? i am getting one today and I am debating on the shark navigator or the shark navigator lift-away (it swivels). The navigator is 129.99 and the lift-away is 169.99. is it worth 40 more dollars?

Also - is a shark steam mop better than the swiffer wet jet I have now? the swiffer seems to just push stuff around and make my floors sticky.

My neighbor has the one that is 169 and says it is awesome bc it doesn't lose suction and doesn't put all the dust back in the air. I plan to buy me one as soon as I get the money.

I have a Bissel steam and sweep. I LOVE IT! I do sweep my floors before using it, but love the sweep part of it so it gets all the stuff I miss.

I have the shark navigator and I love it! I use it to pick up massive amounts of dog hair from my two huge Labrador retrievers. It's awesome.

Eta: I have the one that does not swivel

I guess it would depend on the amount of area you are vacuuming. I have the one the doesn't swivel but I also have all hardwood floors and only place I really vacuum is the big area rug in the living rooms and the small ones in the hallways and kitchens. But I could see the swivel one being easier for houses with all carpet throughout, since you would need to swivel around furniture and stuff.

Depending on where you are buying it you can always buy it try it if you dont like it return it. I'm very excited and can't wait to get mine. I'm also waiting for either Target or walmart to offer it with a gift card bc then I can use the card toward the shark steam mop that I want.
