What works for me is just to leave it alone you should get his income tax every year that way suck yeah but you cant make him do smurf. So dont try. Only real waht it to call child support office and ask them what step you need to do with them to try make him pay they may tell you good info that will work or the info might be pointless seen it both ways.

I say again dont depend on his ass and just use what you get when you get it. Thats what i do.

When payments stopped with mine. I called my domestics office and they sent him a letter telling him he was contempt of court and if he didn't show up with payment or at all he was going to be getting a warrant for his arrest. Sure enough the payments started again.

I don't have this problem but my mom did with my biological dad. I am now 27 and my brother will be 30 and my biological dad we never knew (his choice) but he passed away 2 years ago owing $64,000 in back child support. My mom would push and push to the local cs division and all they ever said was they sent a letter and they did put a warrant on him but the police would never serve it. I feel that people who don't pay child support (men and women) should have harsher consequences when they choose not to pay. I read a news article today on yahoo.com where a man fathers 30 children!! and he works minimum wage so some parents only get like 2$ a month and he wants to try to have it taken away b\c he can't make a living.. I swear I know it is our right but some people should be made to get fixed or make a birth control to where a man can't get a woman pregnant or a woman can't get pregnant b\c they don't want to help care for their kids.

Why doesnt he just sign his rights over, so he truely has nothing connecting him to your son? He wont owe, you wont stress, and he has NO entidlement to your son?

Well why would he think a judge is going to take his word and stop his child support before he is legally deemed not LO's father? thats stupid.
Once he is legally not LO's father- his payments and will stop. What an idiot he seems to be!
