MG baby Pocket Diapers....

does anyone have any feedback about them? This will be the first time we cd...so I wanted some feedback on this brand...TIA+

I have not used them but i have a alva baby and love that over my others but my SO hates AIO or AI2's....

See i dont mind prefolds, i use flips with a prefold under them as they soak up more. But i live with my mom so we dont use them but i keep them for a just in case type thing i can never run out lol

I want whatever is the closest to disposables... I'm at home all day- so the washing/drying thing isn't a huge concern... but I think the pockets will be good too- and then AIO's like if someone else is watching baby! or whatever..I just want to get some of all so we have options..and then we can get more of whatever we prefer ..kwim? This is my first time, so I'm super nervous and scared..lol...Luckily Nicki's Diapers is near my hometown- so I'm going to just go there and get help.

yah i like AIO's or AI2's but SO likes the other's get a sprayer for your toilet it makes it easier for poop but u dont have to have it.

I wasn't a big fan of the AIO's. I didn't feel like they ever got really clean. My favorites were flip diapers with organic flip inserts, and I also used the organic flip inserts with gDiaper covers and liners.

these are from the cloth diaper store i used to buy all my diapers from when brian was in the navy.

The cover is made of PUL which is waterproof. The inserts I linked were my favorite, they are thick. You fold an insert into thirds and set it in the cover. Slap it on and your done! No inserts to stuff. The awesome thing is, the covers, as long as they arent pooped on, can be reused. You dont need to change the cover with each diaper change.

Gdiapers are cloth pants with a plastic liner that snaps in. Gdiapers offers a disposable insert, and there own 'cloth' insert. Both, IMO, suck ass. I loved the gdiapers with the organic flip inserts. And same goes for gdiapers, if the liner isnt pooped in, it can be reused. If the cloth pant isnt soiled or wet, it can be reused. Saves yourself on some laundry.

And they've got cute prints! Same concept as the Flip, fold the organic flip insert into thirds and lay it in the gdiaper liner.

I'd also suggest one size diapers over sized. sized only fit a certain weight range, while one size have snaps to adjust the size of child it fits.

My personal preference is velcro over snaps. I never felt like i got a good snug fit with snaps. one snap would make the diaper to tight, while the next out would make the diaper to loose.
