Starting a new relationship while pregnant...

So Ive been casually seeing this guy for roughly the past two to three weeks, and we've spent a lot of time together. Things have been progressing very slowly (never a bad thing I suppose), and I think I really like him. He's about 3 years older than me, he went through a rough divorce a while back and is for the moment back with his parents (lost his house in the divorce), and has an adorable 3 year old daughter...
So he invited me to dinner with his family tonight, which I admit, seemed very strange to me. If I was dating a pregnant girl, I wouldnt bring her around my daughter and my family after only two or threeweeks. But anyway, I went, and his family was amazing, they were so welcoming and nice. My concern I guess is that I dont know if he told them that Im pregnant. I never feel comfortable just telling people flat out that Im pregnant, but if he didnt tell them, they must think that Chris is now a chubby chaser lol. Im worried about what theyll think of it...
I also wonder what Chris really thinks of it... He of course knows that I am pregnant, and he's very protective of that fact, like he drives extremely slow on bumpy roads, scolds people who smoke near me, and helps me like walk down hills/bankings lol. Its really cute actually. I just wonder what hes really thinking... Maybe I should just relax and let things go how they will...

Relax and see where things go. Normally I would tell you to be more cautious, but I am assuming since he has a daughter he knows that things are a little more serious when kids are involved...just make sure that your expectations and boundaries are clear, that way there are no miscommunications on what you are looking for and wanting.

just relax and let things go.. you did answer your own question.. he sounds like a nice guy and i wouldn't stop things just because you are pregnant.. just go with the flow and don't rush into anything.

See thats the thing, its not really moving too fast, I hadnt even kissed him before tonight.

I dont think I could have said it any better! He seems like a great guy and if his parents are as amazing and welcoming as you said they were I guarentee that they will accept you how you are and not care that you're pregnant OR if you were chubby (even though thats not the case) lol! Good luck with the relationship sweetheart =] Just dont get too caught up in it too soon. Take your time & get to know him first before you start to get seriously involved.

That sounds exactly like my boyfriend!! I met him when I was 2 months pregnant. He has a son already and loves kids. And when we were barely even talking he straight out said to me 'I'm down to be a step daddy'   and I said 'WTF is wrong with you?!' LoL Long story short..I lost the baby. Don't mean to be a party pooper, just that I'm pregnant again and didn't want any confusion....its his baby. His parents knew I was pregnant before they even met me, they thought my boyfriend was a little crazy and asked him if he knew what he was getting himself into, butthey were very accepting as well and invited me over for a BBQ. But you should sit him down and talk to him, and don't jump into things. But it sounds like theres a good chance you got yourself a keeper! good luck

Yeah, Garrett is adios, and I wrote his girlfriend an email and told her everything. So I hope he's as miserable as he made me! He said he still wants to get paternity tested when the baby is born, but I told him to forget it, I dont want to even know, but he'll probably end up pushing that when the baby does come... Oh well, thats to be dealt with when it comes...

I met him at a "party" I had gone to with a friend, he's kind of a friend of a friend type of deal. Hes 24 and he actually lives really close! In the same town, probably about a mile away! Crazy! He works for the state... Umm what else... His family is great, theyre hilarious! And he's a really good dad to his daughter. I dont think it will be too big of a deal to his family that Im pregnant, his youngest brother is 19, and his girlfriend has a 3 year old daughter that's not his. And I think his brother knows anyhow. Anyway, he's sweet and caring and considerate, and thats all I really care about right now! lol!
