would i be able to get medicade, being 17, and without my mother knowing???

Depends on where you live actually.. 17 isn't a minor in ALL states.. Here in SC you can get it =)

My mom works for the State of Michigan, but I don't know how it is in NY, but here you can't. You're still legally a minor so unless your parents are deceased or you are emacipated from them, you can't get it. But that's here....

well the lady at a clinic said that because i am preggo that i am concidered an adult..so i figured that they wouldnt have to get my mom involved, and yes because my mom doesent know and im not telling her untill im 18...but by then ill be almost 6-7 months..so i need 2 hide it good.

1st why can;t ur mom know? Just curious and the answer is no not if you live with her because medicaid requires to know about everyone who lives in your household and their income even if ur not applying for help for them
