shakey/purple

Hey everyone..I recently got results back saying im slightly anemic..and recently I get really shakey all the time. Like I randomly start shaking and then my body turned kinda purple looking just now. I know i'm not dehydrated..so i'm not sure what could be causing it. Does anyone know if that can be from anemia or anything that might cause it??

I've been anemic for years, and have never heard of that. I would call the dr tomorrow morning and ask if you should be seen. Doesn't sound like a result of anemia, especially if you're only slightly anemic. Usually a symptom of anemia is exhaustion, but that sounds very different! Good Luck

anemia is really common in women and even more common in pregnant women, its not a big deal just make sure that you take extra iron suppliments as well as your prenatals.
As far as why you might be getting shaky and stuff, that sounds more like low blood sugar although low iron can cause reactions like that too. What do you usually do after it happens? Try eating a piece of fruit or something like that, sit down and see if it goes away. If it does go away than its low blood sugar and you just need to make sure youre eating every couple hours.

Thanks guys..yeah i didn't think it would be cuz i've never heard of that happening to anyone else from anemia but I just don't know what would be causing it. I just ate a little bit ago and i've been snacking so my bloodsugar shouldn't be too low...I have a dr appt tomorow though for my 24 week ob-gyn so I will ask her then

Yea definitely mention it to your doctor, its probably your blood sugar but you never know...better safe than sorry, your doctor should beable to give you advice as well.
