Jello Shots

I never had them before. Just made up some for tonight to have a night for my hubby and me when the kids go to bed.

I find that I can't do alcohol no matter what kind it is in liquid form. It just makes me feel ill and I don't like the taste. Not a big beer fan either.


So I figured I would try it in jello.


So the point of this post is to ask if you can really taste the liquor in the jello?



I put raspberry flavored vodka in raspberry flavored jello.

If you make them with as much alcohol as I do you can.   Otherwise, no.

If you use a ton of alcohol in them, yes. But having th flavored vodka in them may help a lot. Went to a party last month, and my friend used waaaay too much vodka in some of the flavors of jello and it was just gross. Lol

If you google jello shot recepies there are aTON of them that seem VERY good   Im going to make a few different kinds for my Birthday this year... kind of like a sampling of Jello Shots... hey, I wont be prego and Im turning 30!!!

how much vodka did you put in?

i think you can...at least I can in every jello shot I've ever had but the taste doesn't linger in your mouth like it does when you take a shot or drink a mixed drink... jello shots are Evil things to me, cause they're so incredibly tasty

hm i thought jello shots were made to get drunk n a fun way if u water it down where is the fun ...i would just make them w/o water an add whip topping lol mmmm thats sooooooooo yummy
