Going into labor with a head cold?

Hello! Does anyone know anyone that went into labor with a headcold and what the implications are for you and baby?

I have a head coldright now and my due date isfast approaching. He feels heavy and my doc said cervix is soft but no dialation. No plug loss or BH contractions either. The docs said they would induce me on or before my due dateif he hasn't arrived cuz I have anemia and GD to boot, but I would rather wait until he is ready to come out to avoid a c-section at all cost!Hopefully by then too my cold will be over and done with! Any experiences/stories appreciated!

When I was in labor with my daughterI had a temp and didn't know why..so they went ahead and gave me antibitotics....my son then next day had strep throat. Don't worry they take care of you.

been there , nothing special for treatment, I don't think a cold will affect you in labor . plus all the sweating and pushing and stuff might fight it some and after hopefully you'll feel better. Just take it up woth your doc incase he/she has any recommendations.

my dr said i could still hold my baby and stuff. (i was afraid that i was gonna get him sick.) she told me to rest and drink alot of fluids. and to take a decongestant like benadryl or somthing.
