preemie baby 30 weeks

my little girl was born april 14 2012 at 30 weeks gestation. she has kidney problems, a heart defect, a small chin, her pinkies are curved inward. It is all because of a chromosome defect. and we will not be able to know if it is going to effect her anymore until she gets older. It is very hard not knowing. So if there is any mothers that are going through this type of thing please talk to me about it..

A friend of mine had her son at 31 or 32 weeks and he is a happy healthy boy now!

Her baby has a bunch of health issues and all you can talk about is your friends healthy baby? Where's the sympathy?

I was giving her some encouragement that her baby can turn out to be a healthy and happy baby as well. Not trying to hurt anyone at all.

i had twins at 34 weeks, they were both fine, well what i call fine anyways, they had both had a heart murmer at first that went away when the were about 2 months old, and one of my boys has a kidney that is fill of cysts and will never work, at first it was scary as i found out about the kidney while i was pregnant but now they are both fine healthy 8 month olds and the doctor told me cohen having one fully working kidney will be just fine, i hope everything turns out ok keep me posted please!! Also my little cousin who is now 12 was born at 26 weeks and was 1 pound 14 ounces, it was touch and go for awhile the doctors told my uncle to be prepared for the baby to not make it, his organs weent functioning properly and his lungs werent working he was on a machine breathing for him, he could fit in the palm of your hand it was heart breaking, they hooked him up to an iv, had a machine breathing for him like i said and put him in an incubator and hoped for the best and he pulled threw, he is now 5 foot 7 at 12 and smart as a whip. He does have asthma but thats due to his mother always smoking around him, he didnt have that scince he was born it just developed a few years ago. Eventually his organs and lungs started doing their job and he started eating and it just kept getting better after that, you are in my prayers and i hope everything turns out fine, and like i said please keep me posted!

my babys heart problem is called VSD or Ventricular Septal Defect. She will have to have heart surgury to get it fixed. i wish she didn't. sorry to hear about their kidneys. the only problem with my little girls is its not holding sodium so she is going to be on sodium medication the rest of her life. but all of this is caused by a chromosome disorder. and they can't tell me anything about it because it is so rare. its so hard not knowing anything about it.
