Pregnant with a toddler.....

Is anyone else expecting, and have a toddler??
I have a wonderful 4 year old daughter, who means the world to me. She is the typical only child though which concerns me a lot. Her attiutde has gotten worse lately, and only towards me.
Just want to see how this is working out for everyone else.....every little bit of advice is nice

I am pregnant right now with two toddlers. My oldest is almost 4 and the youngest is a year and a half old.
When I got pregnant with my second daughter my oldest didn't really understand what was going on, but after Lily (my second) was born Chloe (the oldest) took to her really well. Like she was her own. lol.
When I got pregnant this time, Lily doesn't really understand what's going on but Chloe does and she's really excited to have another little sister.
Most of the time after the baby is born the other kids take to them really well.

I have a 2 and a half yr old daughter and am due just before you! My daughter had her moments when we first began explaining that I was pregnant with a brother or sister for you. Our pediatrician suggested getting her into something to let that energy out, whether its excitement or anger. We signed her up for gymnastics, and she's been great since we started! We explain that she can do it after the baby comes, because she is the BIG GIRL, and it will only be a baby who can't do what she does. That just made her feel special and big. Good luck!

at least that's what I thought when I read your topic title
I only have one child although we are planning on TTC when he's about 6 months old so I will probably end up pregnant with a toddler as well. So I'd like to see responses.

I have a 2yo and am just exhausted. He is hitting the "no" stage along with Mr. Independent............perfect timing, NOT. Potty training would have been nice to start, but I feel like he will enjoy being at that level with the baby.....so I am going to wait until the end of summer.
I am getting nervous about how he is gonna be, but I am actually excited for the challenge. I think he is gonna make a great big brother!

Anyway. I'm almost 35 weeks preggo and I have a 3 year old
She keeps me busy but her attitude towards me hasn't really changed. We have all of the new baby stuff around though, so she thinks SHE'S a baby... oi

I have a 4 year old girl and a 2 year old girl, but they seem really excited about baby #3.My oldest is apparently expecting as well, she even told me today that she felt him kick. Also I better have a boy cause no matter how many times I say we don't know what baby is, she replies "It IS a boy!!!Good luck, I always wondered about waiting til they were older before you had the next, but every kid is different. My advice would be limit baby talk around her and act kind of non-chalant about it.Wish you the best!

I am 27 weeks pregnant and I have 4 year old twins. They are pretty excited about the baby though. They even kiss my big ol' belly good night and good bye when I drop them off at school. I signed them up for a sibling class at the local hospital in abaout 5 weeks.
They have been pretty defiant though so I don't know if it is baby related or what.
