Quoting Im watching you:" this thread made me LMFAO im going to keep it in my reply smurf and next time someone posts about wanting ... [snip!] ... , but if a old or even better a well liked member had posted this i bet the responses would of been a whole lot different"

I'd have the same response to a well known member.
Don't smurfing tell me I "signed up" for 40 weeks of pregnancy, or to suck it up or any of that smurf.

People who try to self induce early are a completely different story.

   This.

Many of us give no or few smurfs if a woman induces after 37 weeks either by a doctor or under medical supervision.

If someone before 37 weeks wants to be a twatwaffle and start screaming about "OMG I'm lyke 34 wks and I cn't STAND being preggo anymore I need this bby OUT nao! Sumone HELP me!".... then yes, you will see people calling them total dumbasses and telling them to wait.

I've had two inductions, the first for pre e and the second was elective at 39 weeks. Hell, I'll probably do it again.

It's my body and if my doctor is okay with it, it shouldn't matter to anyone else.

I still had to technically have an induction because I stalled for so long. But that's a whole different thing because I was already in labor. Still had a csection though, but I'm fine with it

*high five* elective 39 week inductions! I had two and oddly, my induction due to medical reasons was the tough delivery.

The smurffy thing is, I HAVE to be induced due to cholestasis of pregnancy. I would give anything to be able to go into labor on my own.

My body just refuses to go into labor on its own... with my first I made it almost all the way to my due date and had not even started to thin or dilate. I guess the dr. induced because they thought she was going to be bigger than she actually was. With my second I just would not go past 2 cm and the induction failed at almost 42 weeks... csection for my second one..
