Ashlyn is Finally Here

Finally!   My Little one came into this world on monday april 28th.

I was feeling light contractions non stop for about two days and went to my doc appiontment on monday at noon and was dialated 3 and they sent me home after setting up a induction date for april 30th.
I went home and they started to pick up a little in pain and i got my bloody show. And then called the doc around 530 the contractions were no more then ten min apart and some were less then 2 min so they had me come in.
I was in there for awhile the contractions were lasting forever but about a half hour after getting there my doc finally came and he broke my water and then gave me that inducing stuff... along with the group b antibiotic stuff . But about 15 min later the contractions picked up and were pretty intense in pain. And no more then a min apart... about and hour or so went by and then i got checked and i was dialated to 5. He kept trying to push the epi on me but i didnt want it. And then not even ten min after that i got one really bad contraction that lasted 3 min long... i was about to ask for the epi but then i got the urge to push... and about ten min after that i had my little girl.
I got a mild tear took one stitch to fix it.
She came in at 6 pounds 15 ounces and 18 inches long.
and born at 8:21pm.
Healing is going pretty well.
I will try and post some pictures soon.... and surprisingly she came out with a full head of hair... dark hair...

Thank you all yeah it was pretty easy.... almost gave in and took the meds but it was only the last contraction before pushing that hurt horribly....

Aww congrats thats so exciting! Just one question tho. Did it hurt when you tore cause I want an epidural but then I dont want it at the same time lol. and I dont wanna wimp out and get it if I dont have to and the only pain I am afraid of is tearing!!!!

i didnt know till he said something to me... which im glad cause that would not have been comfortable

Haha awesome, thats what I have heard it that yo udont feel that you just feel the stitches and stuff but I just wanted to see if it was true!! thanks and congrats again!
