hospital bags

At what stage do we need to pack our hospital bag and what do we need to put in them?
for both mum and baby?

i am 35 in half weeks and i packed mine last weekend i dont know if that is too early or not but i did it then

Most people do it cause their bored or excited, but I would say that you should pack it by 37 weeks. I didn't pack mine till I was in labor though lol!

I packed my bag at 36 wks.
In it:
nursing gown, robe, and slippers
lots of pads and 5 pairs of underwear, 2 nursing bras
socks, hair brush, hair ties
toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, lipgloss, soap and my own washcloth
lotion, and baby powder, deodorant, and perfume
two changes of clothes for leaving the hosptial (baggy pants, you will still have a tummy)
Camera, phone card and birth plan and phone list, ipod

for baby: 3 onesies, going home/picture outfit, receiving blanket
diapers, a bottle, hat, mittens, and socks

i dont have to pack it for a loooooong time then lol thats good coz iv not got any off the thigs u mentioned hehe like pads etc do u not take breast pafs and all that jazz?

Don't forget the car seat and a phone card to call relatives who live long distance!

car seat sorted (look at my piccys to see it its with m pram its WELL HOT hehehe) its in pregnancy lol
and all my relatives are localish all uk n uk calls are the same price especially on other peopels phones hehe.

Andys incharge of telling people my job when its born is becoming a milk machine and sleeping. he gets the nappies hahaha
