All Things Natural

Anybody want to share any natural remedies and recipes with me? Beauty secrets or health secrets?

If you have anything to share that is natural, then please do.

I like to mix honey, lemon juice and yogurt together and use it on my face to shrink my pores.
I use coffee grounds and olive oil as an exfoliator.
Lemon juice and baking soda can remove shave bumps.
Lemon juice or white vinegar can clean a grill or stove. You can add baking soda too and pretty much clean anything with it.
Adding applesauce to any cake mix makes it so moist and delicious.

I eat apples daily to regulate my bowel movements   lovely yes I know

I am looking for Natural hints and tricks or good food recipes...please share

Start a raw diet...I do raw diets in the summer, it's tough at first but it's really good for you once you get into the swing of things.

I use honey/sea salt flakes for my face scrub & just regular honey as a cleanser

I think coffee grounds/olive oil would make me gag (pregnancy nose) haha!

Pureed watermelon is meant to be amazing for your skin.

I've heard banana peels are awesome for getting rid of dead skin/cracked heels etc - i haven't tried it though.

The banana thing is very interesting.

I never tried just honey as a face wash.

I love olive oil & brown sugar as a face scrub. I also used to use mayonnaise & lemon juice as a hair treatment when my scalp would be going crazy. It smelled surprisingly good!

I usually eat whats in season at the Famers Market. I'm a vegetarian so I don't get many cravings for fatty foods, but I do like my sweets... I do crystal light waters.. I only use half a packet per drink because lately they seem pretty sweet.

I am leaning toward an only veggie diet but Im also trying to go low carb. I've been eating apples, carrots, broccoli, peas, green beans, other beans, sweet pot on occasion, cucumbers and kefir. I'm getting really bored. I also use fresh garlic as seasoning and I'm on a budget.

I do get bored, the same as anyone else would I guess.
and I don't really have a typical day,.. but this is what I ate yesterday:

Tea, Carrots, broccoli, hummus, pita, cucumber salad (cucumber, onion, mayo, vinegar). Then I made a fruit smoothie, then a veggie smoothie.
