I had the surgical. I was in pain the rest of the day. It felt like the worst period I've ever had in my life. Each day the pain got less. It took about 5-6 days to feel better.
I had the abortion 4 1/2 years ago and I've yet to get pregnant. But my dr. says it's not from the abortion. I just have smurfed up cycles.

Pain was not bad, more like period cramps. Did not have any issues getting pregnant with my son.

I had one almost 10 years ago. It was painful like a super painful period but it didnt last days like my period. I didnt get pregnant until almost 5 years later but thats because I wasnt trying. Once I tried I got pregnant in a few months. Best wishes. You'll be ok  

I had mine at 8 weeks both times. The pain isnt much more that having normal period cramps afterwards. You bleed the same as a period if not less. Don't worry yourself over it. The stress and worry is what will get your nerves worked up.

Just ask the nurse in there if she will let you hold her hand. I squeezed the crap out of my nurses hand when I had mine done. It's not fun, but you'll be fine.

I had no pain afterwards. I got pregnant 4 times after as well. So you shouldn't have an issue getting pregnant.

I opted not to have the sedition as well and it sucked. I was about 6 weeks and it was painful and hurt bad the rest of the day and was still tender and sore if I walked to much the next day but by the day after that I felt totally fine.

It was like period cramps for a couple days. But nothing I couldn't handle. I was sedated, but the pain meds hadn't kicked in by the time they started so I still felt most everything.

Have you gone for your pre appt yet? I had gone at like 7wks and they made me wait a week before I came back...which sucked, because I just wanted it over with.

The surgical I hear is alot easier to do that those pills you take and have to go home and do it on your own and just wait around and then pass it on your on. I didn't have the strength to go through all that and seeing it and such.

No I went to the hospital yesterday and found out then. They did an ultrasound and checked my levels and such. I'm calling the clinic tomorrow.

Yeah, it's basically forcing a miscarriage at home. To me, the surgical was a breeze and over with in like 10 minutes (well, it felt that way anyway).

Oh ok. Yeah just call them and say you want to get in as soon as possible and such. I'm around if you need someone to talk to about any of this. Don't worry yourself. Just know that you are making the right choice in what you have decided and you'll do fine.
