6 Week Old Constipation?

I had to switch my daughter from breast milk to soy formula this week and I think she is becoming constipated. Her number of poop diapers has decreased alot and the one she had recently was just one little small round turd (tmi sorry). What can I do too help her out? I know I am not supposed to give her just water I am mixing her bottles right so I don't know what to do. TIA for any help.

Give her time to adjust. Breast milk runs right through and formula takes alot longer to digest. It's normal for the number of 'poos' to greatly decrease.

Soy formula constipated my dd very bad I had to take her off it. My dr told me to put karo syrup in her bottle to help relieve... It didn't work but I used a tiny tiny bit of black strap molasses instead and that worked great.

Thank you ya'll I didn't know if I needed to add something like Pedialyte into her diet.
