tylenol pm/simply sleep while breastfeeding??please help

is it safe to take tyenol/simply sleep while breastfeeding, both of these contain diphenhydramine HCI. Which is also in benadryl..this is a antihystamine so i wasnt sure if this is ok to use..please help!

I know it's safe to take while pregnant but I don't know about breastfeeding. Aren't most things that are safe to take while pregnant safe to take while breastfeeding? Hmm... Wish I could be of more help...

Yes it's safe. It's safe to take while pregnant as well. Actually the child would get much less of the drug breastfeeding than they would while you were pregnant with them  

Hmm...I would be more worried about taking the meds and not waking up for the baby.

yes, but not all drugs that are safe during pregnancy are safe during BF

True, but they are pretty few and far between.

thanks ladies. I just needed to know because I have alot of trouble sleeping. I am not worried about waking up because I am the lightest sleeper ever, even when I do take tylenol pm. I just wanted to make sure it was not going to make baby sleepy too
