Cramps

I just recently found out that I am five weeks prego and I have been having some really bad cramps. It feels like AF but usally my cramps only last one day maybe two and I have been having them everyday for the pass two weeks. I was wondering if you are suppose to have cramps while prego. As you can tell this is my fist pregnancy so I am unsure of what my body is suppose to be doing. Also can I use a heating pad while pregnant?

It's normal...at this stage, the cramps are the baby attaching to your uterus, that's all.

IDK about the heating pad... but the cramps are normal as long as you're not bleeding. take 2 tylenol. that is safe. be sure to follow the directions, though. hope you feel better!

That makes me feel alot better. Do you know if I can use a heating pad or is it un safe for the baby.

Heating pad is ok for like 10 min at a time on a low setting. Just don't let yourself get overheated

cramps are normal as long as there is no bleeding. I would 86 the heating pad  

Dont know about using a heating pad but laying dow sometimes help. Also tylenol

my doctor said no heating pads. and yeahh.. its normal.

try a warm... not hot bath

I had really bad cramps before I knew I was prego so I used a heating pad, cranked that puppy up full blast to the point where I had small burn marks all over my pelvis, I didn't care as long as the cramps went away. Lo and behold a week later I find out I'm preggers, I was freaking positive I cooked it and was freaking out. So when I saw my doctor she got a good laugh, said it was probably not advisable to do that again in case of cramps but if nothing had resulted from my heating pad night that it was VERY unlikely that I will give birth to a lil roasted weiner........

I've been having cramps too. Doc said it was hormones, nothing to worry about unless there was bleeding. I'm 5 weeks 6 days in and this is my first too!
