dilation!?

At how many weeks did you start dilating/effacing??

36- i had him at 37 and 4 days

38 weeks... I was induced at 41 weeks.

36. I was at 1cm for 4 weeks before I was induced

At 32 weeks, I was 2 cm dilated. I got checked again at 34 and I was the same. Now i'm almost 36 weeks and haven't been checked again yet.

I started at 36 I think. I was only a fingertip and then 1 cm a week after. I was induced at 41 with no change and had a c section. :\

I never did, until they put the p-gel on my cervix, and i dilated 1cm over night. then was induced.

I didnt get checked till 38weeks 5days. I was a one. I had her 3 days later

P-gel? Is that the lube they use to check your cervix? lol

Prostin Gel, its what helps thin and dilate you when they induce you before they put you on oxytocin or whatever other aid they use.

36 weeks: 1cm & no effacement

37 weeks: 2 cm & 50%

38 weeks: Same

39 weeks: Same

40 weeks and 3 days: Stretched to 3 cm with a membrane sweep & 80%

40 weeks & 5 days: Went into labor on own.

Ohhhhhhhh! Never heard of that... Wonder why my midwife didn't put any on me today, HAHAHA!

Pretty sure they only use it when your overdue haha.
And it's something I'd want to avoid because it feels like hot sauce up in you hahaha.
I needed it for my daughter when I went 2 weeks overdue, I wasn't dilated at all, they put two doses on my cervix, that night I dilated to 1 cm and my water broke that night and then they put me on oxytocin and I was in labor for 36 hours before I finally had my DD.

I dont know...

With my first i was checked at 35 weeks 5 days and was 3 cm. Delivered him at 36 weeks 2 days after a 1 hr 45 min spontaneous labor.

With my second I was checked at 36 weeks 2 days and was 5 cm with a bulging bag. We decided to induce at 36 weeks 3 days and labor lasted 36 minutes!!

OMG! I will stay away from that.. It hurts bad enough when they check me, moreless I dont need my vagina on fire LOL... Well I am 2cm as of today... hopefully I'll do some squats and get things kickin!! Im so tired and worn out.
