I guess this article has shown me part of the other side. I still don't fully agree with a full term abortion I still don't understand the point of it.

Meg same with Kevin's mom she was a virgin and was raped walking back to her car after a football game. This was 23 years ago so she went through alot of hell from people at school and church who didn't believe the story of rape and she said it was more painful feeling the need to explain to people what happened than ever having him.

It had to be approved by a medical board. She researched many options of abortions, to determine the one that would be best for her to deal with. Even still, it was a very hard choice.

This severely disturbs me. I am going to research this to find out more info. I cant believe that ANYONE could do that so late in pregnancy. My god, a kicking moving child. That is disgusting. I actually think that my lunch is coming back up. WOW!!!!

There are a lot of opinions about abortion on here. I think its hard to really form an opinion on it until you are in a situation where you really have to think about it. Me for example, I was raped. I have no clue if my baby is from the guy who raped me or my boyfriend of two years, since I still had sex with my boyfriend around that time. At first I was going to get an abortion, with a lot of pressure from my family and friends. Everyone told me it would be wrong of me to raise a rape baby if it turned out that way. But I went to the clinic and I waited and waited and I just decided I couldn't do it and finally walked out of the room without saying a word. I don't care if my baby is whoever's its MY baby, bottom line. I am happy with my decision, I don't think I could really live with myself if I had got an abortion. But that's just my opinion on it from personal experience. And I agree with the late term abortions if they are medically necessary, like if its going to kill the mom or there are severe defects for the child. I don't think any practicing doctor would do a late term abortion just because a woman doesn't want the child anymore. I can't imagine that that would even be legal to just abort just because. I could be wrong, but I just can't see it happening, someone would get wind of it and have a hay day with it. Remember the doctor that was killing people because they wanted to die? They were all dying anyway but he went to jail for manslaughter or something for assisted suicide. Everyone is entitled to their opinions but don't just think its because a girl "doesn't know how to keep her pants on".
