What will your baby wear leaving the hospital? Post pics

When I thought I was having a girl, I planned on a cute bonnet, with smocked dress & panty cover. with pink bows in her hair LOL

Now, that I am having a boy I want something nicer than just a onesie, etc. I am thinking about a smocked football outfit.. this is the only one I can find right now.


When he gets older I am going to buy him this so he watch his daddy play football.


If anyone sees a smocked football outfit please let me know or post the link on here!! Thanks

I've never seen that before so I don't understand whats so funny about her outfit pick..

Ok....now to be semi-nice like.... Keep in mind that they won't let you leave the hospital unless the baby is wrapped up and has a hat on. Babies can and DO get hot. You don't want too much on him, he'll scream and let you know. Keep it simple. All those diapers he's going to make you change...you might as well stick to the onesie...its easier for both you and him. Save the pretty outfit for his pics, and then put it away.

hmm thats strange because my niece left the hospital in a dress & my nephewworea smocked bubble outfit. They both had bonnets on. but they were not bundled up or anything. I've been watching Bringing home Baby on TLC..a lot of the babies are in nice cute clothes leaving the hospital.

i bought my kids first outfit in preemie... they never fit into newborn clothes.. and the preemies were always just right

ya I have a few of each right now.. I've been told that he is going to be too big for Preemie or NB.. So I am just trying to be prepared with already buying 0-3 months clothes LOL. My boyfriend was a very largggggeeee baby.. man he is still large so Im just ready.

my daughter left in one of those onsies that has footies & mits on it...no blankies er nothin..but it was humid & raining lol

my little one will be wearing this since her daddy is in the marines and deployed but im going to get 'Daddys Girl' on a name tapeon the cap to match the cammie onesie outlined in pink to make it more girly looking =]

we got this outfit and another that is the green cammies before we knew the gender

you could probably find an iron on patch that you could put on the hoodie or the onesie instead of tape... if you wanted to
