pregnancy after abortion

My mom had an abortion a few years after she had me and after that she didnt have any trouble getting pregnant. She had my 2 sisters with no problem. Im sure it'll be fine.

I just wanted to say that my mom had an abortion before I was born, then went on to have 5 successful pregnancies. You didn't ruin your chances. Best of luck to you.

I had an abortion in february of last year, and i got pregnant in december, i think you will be fine hunnie, theres a small chance that it has effected your chances of getting pregnant but most likely not.

I had an abortion in January 2011, then found out I was expecting again in July 2011. I got pregnant without any problem and my pregnancy was perfect.

I have had 2 successful pregnancies after having an abortion!

1st. What you did wasn't wrong you made a decision that was best for you at the time. 2nd. you didn't ruin you chances I'm sure, tons of people have abortions then get pregnant.

What you did was not wrong. You did what was best at that time. But I had an abortion in October because I couldn't get off my meds until mid January. So I had no option. But I got pregnant in February. You should be ok

You'll be fine. A single abortion will not have any ill effects on you getting pregnant again. And you are not wrong for getting an abortion, none of us can assume to know your life and the circumstances surrounding your choice.

you shouldn't have any problems hun not at all if you do just talk to your GYN about it

You are in a protected forum, if someone says something not supportive just push the moderation button   And, if you have an uncomplicated abortion, you should be able to have a perfectly healthy pregnancy. Don't dwell on the past, it's the past, there is nothing you can do to change it and dwelling on it won't do you any good. You did what was best for you. That is all that matters. Good luck  

I was against abortion, until I had to make the choice myself. Last May I had an abortion because the guy I was with pressured me into it. I also decided that being with that guy was the wrong thing. So I made my decision and I still feel regret and guilt for it, but i am now expecting my baby girl in the beginning of June.   With my new fiance!!! I had no problems getting pregnant. And I couldn't be happier!!! I thought I couldn't get pregnant after that, but it was all in my head. You shouldn't have any problems, and it makes you a stronger person knowing that you can carry such an amazing gift! Sorry for rambling, but hope it gives you an ease of mind, and helps a little.  

I am not proud of it but i have had 2 abortions. one was when i was very young and the second i was pressured into eg. if you don't get rid i will make sure you lose it!
I am now 32 weeks pregnant and it only took 2 months to conceive. so chin up. It will happen
