re: pregnancy after abortion

I had an abortion in 2008. I am now 22 weeks pregnant  

Got pregnant easily 2 years after my abortion.

I had an abortion last year same month and then got pregnant in February of this year. I do not think it will be hard for you to get pregnant just make sure you are emotionally ready. I was not and am having a lot of problems dealing with it. It gets very hard for me to function daily and I am scared I might be putting too much stress on the baby I am carrying.

my sister in law got pregnant at 15 and was forced into an abortion by her parents, a few months later she fell pregnant with my nephew then went onto having another 3 kids! so i dont think u have ruined ur chances, and nobody should judge u for having an abortion, u did what was right at the time, best of luck to u and ur partner  

The only time I've ever heard of it being a problem getting pregnant again is if you've had multiple abortions.
My parents friends used abortions as their BC then after MANY years (and a ton of abortions later) they wanted to TTC. They tried for like two years and nothing. So they had IVF and conceived boy and girl twins.

I know exactly how you feel, I had an abortion 5 years ago and it's weird because after the abortion(this story is with my ex) he wanted to ttc but it never happened thank god! I am now happy with the love of my life with our little boy on the way. My point is that I was very scared for a long time that that one time ruined my chances of ever being a mother. But don't stress out, it will happen when the time is right   I believe everything happens for a reason!

I had an abortion in 06 then was preg with my daughter in 09 another surprise preg and now I am preg with my son due in sept. Evertone is diff maybe your stressing it,to much try to relax and it will happen

I have had two abortions and I got pregnant after both, So it does not lower your chance of getting pregnant. I am currently trying to get pregnant too. I want a baby so bad too. So I understand hun.

i had an abortion in november 2009, and then became pregnant with TWINS in january of 2011. My twins are now 8 months and healthy im sure you will have no problems, i also know of quite a few others who had one abortion and they all have children now too! Dont ever let someone make you feel like your decision was wrong you did what was best for you!

this same question has been lingering in my mind too now for a year or so. i had my abortion about 3 years ago. im not quite ready to have a baby yet, but the thought has crossed my mind.

I had an abortion when I was 17 and was 12 weeks pregnant. I am now 33 and on my third pregnancy. I haven't has any issues so I think you'll do just fine.
