Quoting ♡Sarah♡ +1.5:" Someone has to do it. "has to do what?
Quoting Teagans_Mom:" I'm sort of surprised they even let you do that. I think I saw on Teen Mom (yeah, not the best for information, ... [snip!] ... and gone, especially if they were very young. So for me and my kids, I'd find it an unwise choice, but not a selfish one."
Quoting Jays*Mama:" has to do what?"
Quoting ♡Sarah♡ +1.5:" You are correct, they no longer allow husbands and wives with children to enlist anymore."

Quoting ♡Sarah♡ +1.5:" You are correct, they no longer allow husbands and wives with children to enlist anymore."My friend who was telling me about the article isn't married yet; she and her fiance are having a baby soon and then will both be deployed when the baby is 6 months old for a year.
Quoting Because we fell in Love:" My friend who was telling me about the article isn't married yet; she and her fiance are having a baby ... [snip!] ... maybe it's because they aren't married? Or because they've both been enlisted for awhile (since before they met/got pregnant)."
Quoting Valor™:" They can't. But I'm not entirely sure how it works if they have kids together AFTER they have enlisted. ... [snip!] ... selfish at all. Anything but. It takes A LOT to leave your family for months on end to go risk your life in a foreign country."
Quoting Philosoraptor.:" I believe pregnant AD women have the option to be discharged. My friend and her husband are AD, she stayed in."
Quoting Valor™:" Yes! That's right! I had this talk with DH a while back and he said that. I totally forgot. XD"

Nothing is set in stone and I seriously doubt she knows EXACTLY what she'll be doing so far ahead of time. I'm not saying it's impossible but it might not happen, at least not at the same time. I've actually never heard of both parents deploying at the same time before and I know quite a few couples who are active duty.
Quoting Philosoraptor.:" Yeah my friend stayed in and she was a day worker, i miss her. I'm so sad we didn't keep in touch after i left, but such is the military life, I suppose."And such is that you'll probably end up running into one another again one day, lol. The military = small world. If you or your spouse stays in long enough you're bound to run into the same people eventually.
Quoting Raptor Jesus:" And such is that you'll probably end up running into one another again one day, lol. The military = small ... [snip!] ... Anyway, this is one of the reasons I love Facebook so. It makes keeping in touch so much easier for lazy people like me, heh."
Quoting Philosoraptor.:" Ex husband got out in December, heh. I have her on FB but she never talks to me =/"That bitch
