38 weeks and creamy white discharge?

I have been having some rough cramping on and off today and just had a bad case of the poo poo's..lol=)

Anyway, I just started getting this creamy white watery discharge and someone said that it sounded like Meconium that happens before the onset of labor?

I looked it up and it didn't say anything like that.
Some said it was my plug but I had my bloody show about a week and half ago with my plug..

So, any ideas as to what this could be?

You are probably just continuing to thin out.

Sounds like you are getting ready for labor...but I don't think it is muconium...maybe your mucus plug? Meconium is greenish and dark and is from when the baby has a bowel movement inside of you. Good luck though Labor dust!

I know.. thats why I was like.. what the hell?My baby better not be pooing in me..eww..lol=)

Meconium is what the baby passes as his 1st bowel movement. It's black or green. It's bad if it happens in utero. Meconium wouldn't show up in your discharge even if the baby had passed it. It would show up if your water were to break though. Hence why docs say go to L&D immediately if your water has green or black tinge to it. It is very common in late pregnancy for your cervical mucous to be more abundant. Part or loosing your plug and dilating. Comes with the territory!

Meconium is the baby's first stool and it is blackish/greenish in color. And that can only come out if your baby has already pooped inside of you...AND your water has broken. So it's definitely not that.
