I plan on it. I go in there nice with a smile on my face, they think they can take advantage of me but I'm not going to allow it.

DH and I just BD'ed, right after we were done my RE's office called. Apparently my RE said to do the IUI tomorrow. The nurse made it clear that they were busy with other IUIs tomorrow and that it probably won't work.

After this I'm done with that office. I was naive, I thought "okay I'll do one more cycle with them. Nothing will go wrong."

From what I've read they have good reviews. This time I'm being smart about it, I'm researching each office/doctor.

I am so sorry they didn't find any sperm. I really am.

I am also very sorry, that your RE office screwed up again. They really sound horrible. I mean how can this happen twice....you knew it was going to happen and you don't have a ultrasound maschine and a lab at home. This is just horrible monitoring and timing. I would seriously sue them for the money.
Did you do some more research on FCI? I am really happy with them. I mean ok, I am having the problem with the large lead follicle, but I don't think it is their fault at all. They are trying everything possible and I am sure if I do have to cancel they will make the necessary changes next time around.

I got the call from the nurse and they want me to stay on the same amounts of meds until Friday. On Friday I am going back for monitoring. If the lead follicle "behaves", I will most likely trigger on Sunday.

I'm going to reply to everybody's post when I get home. Right now I'm in the parking lot of my RE's office while Ian gives his sperm sample.. last night an hour after I called them they decided to do the IUI. Today along with blood work and u/s. My blood work appointment was first I went in. The lab Guy asked why I was getting the labs done and a u/s when I was suppose to be coming in for IUI. All 4 nurses had no idea why, nor did the 3 ladies at the front desk. I tried to explain what I was told. This went on for 5 minutes, they all were asking eachother why and what was going on. I tried not to laugh at them. Anyway I think I scared a new patient off. I kept going on about how they missed my ovulation last month and this month.

My leader egg is gone, but the 17mm one was still there. She said she didn't see a corpus luteum. I'm guessing I may have just O'ed the leader follicle. I can't wait to see a new RE, hopefully I'll end up pregnant though.

So I had an appointment to discuss my labs yesterday and He and I agreed that I shouldn't do meds until my TSH is under 2.5 and my A1C drops.

He was ok giving me birth control during this to quiet everything, but I am just thankful everything else was ok.

He said that he isnt a patient person and I am thinking that means he is aggressive with treatment.

Between now and Jan or Feb I guess, DH will have a SA done again, but when I did IUI in the past his sample was 22 million, 2 years ago, so I think I am just being safe with having it done again.

He did ask me if I wanted to do IUI, or if I was ok with timed and that prompted me to ask, but if he is fine, and everything with my inside except for the PCOS is fine, timed intercourse should work right?

I am just worried about my bodys PH and all that and if we should do IUI but it is expensive, like 1000 a cycle.

Advice is welcomed on this because after almost 3 years, I have disconnected myself from alot of this.

Also, have any of you jumped into fertility meds right after BC, like they do with IVF, but with just Femara?

I went straight to Femara plus injectibles based on my absurdly low AMH. Usually the standard way to go is three IUIs before moving on to IVF. IUI is certainly cheaper but you might want to try some timed cycles too. Do you have to pay for those?

I don't know much about IUI as I went straight to IVF, however unless you were diagnosed with hostile CM I would give it 2-3 months of timed intercourse. I guess asking the doctor for his opinion would be the best. I am sure he has had similar situations many times and knows the outcome of the different approaches

Ok, just came back from monitoring. Still waiting for the nurse to call, but the us tech said the large follicle is not growing and it doesn't look that immense anymore (not quiet sure what is going on) and all my other follicles look great. She said I am doing beautifully (whatever that means) and that I am getting up into the higher digits with follie size. She said I was getting close.
I pray the nurse will give the date for trigger and retrieval this afternoon!
I am getting excited!!! Please wish me all the best for this month. I need this to work. As you know its the last paid cycle and if we have to pay out of pocket next time around it would be really difficult!
