An old friend from high school passed last night. He committed suicide. Heartbreaking and my thoughts are with his family right now. He must of been in a lot of inner turmoil to have to take his own life. Really sad around the holidays.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend. Suicide is such a hard thing to comprehend sometimes.

Oh I'm so sorry girl!!!!

I work in a psych unit. There have been a lot of attempted suicides in the past week. I've taken care of 3 in the last 2 days. One lady is a nurse and injected herself with two vials of insulin, a bottle of diuretics, a bottle of sleeping pills, a bottle of antidepressants, and a half a bottle of drano and is alive. She's pretty upset she wasn't successful.
I think the holidays make things worse for some.

Very sad. I talked to her for like an hour last night. I just wanted to give her a hug and make her feel better.

I'm so thrilled! I got the job! It pays a little less than I anticipated but oh well.
That means.... IUI soon!!!!!!! We still don't have a month selected but I'm sure it will be within the next 6 months. I can't wait.
Another perk is that I get to quit my nurse consultant job at the assisted living. The administrator is getting really nasty as she gets older. I'm putting in my 2 weeks today. Now that's something to be thankful for!
