So frustrated I need to vent really quickly. Don't quote please. So my boss asked me again about Christmas Eve. I said I really can't work I have family coming over and from out of town. She says to me "I thought we had an agreement. When I told my husband he freaked out because he is the replacement"

First, our agreement was that December is your busiest month therefore I'm already working Saturdays and late two days a week, with only Christmas Eve (what I thought) and Christmas Day off. Never did I thought i would be working on a holiday

Second, your husband is not the "replacement" he's the father, he should be able to spend time and be with his child, if you think I'm working just so he can go to the gym or sleep while I could be with my family your dead wrong.

I took TWO days off this month, one being Black Friday and the second being DHs surgery. And she claims that she's "giving me all this time off". Really? I think it may be time to move on.

Ashleigh - I saw your FB post. I'm sorry about your boss. You'd think she'd be a little more understanding. As for her husband... he needs to be a father and not so lazy.
I hope that you can find another family to nanny for quickly if you choose to move on.

I asked her why she was in Cornelius, OR (showed on the locator and is also about a 30 minute drive from here) when she lives across the state. lol. Then I asked her where she heard that and denied the rumor.
It's funny because both our parents know about his non existent sperm count.

So you know DH has a condition to start IUI, he wants me to have a full time job. Well last week I went for a second interview at a skilled facility. It was between me and 3 other people. I found out yesterday that I didn't' get it   I did a background check and a urine drug screen for another job last week that I'm waiting to hear the results of and get an official offer... this wait is killing me. I'm calling there in about a half hour.

I will. I phoned there yesterday afternoon and the receptionist said it's probably too soon to have results. So I hope it's a yes. I don't think they would have spent their time and resources if they weren't going to make me a job offer for what I asked for.

In any case, DH wants to remodel our kitchen before any IUI. He just wants everything to be set before we bring a child into our home. Our kitchen needs it. It's 19 years old... so are our floors. Those need to be replaced, too. I hate home ownership.

Butting in but you may wanna try hospitals in your area if your looking for good work in a center. After school programs too!
