I love this!!
Well I'm on 16 DPO/CD29 waiting on AF she should be here anyday!
I really hope she comes soon!
So I can start our new protocol.
I know for sure I'm not pregnant this month, so I'm not testing. Just waiting it out.
BTW my back went out on me saturday and I've been dealing with that and physical therapy now. So I stay super busy with my crazy schedule.
Heres my BBT, you can see where I didn't take progesterone and my temp didn't elevate after I O.

Ouch! I'm sorry about your back going out

I hope AF arrives for you soon! I'm confident you'll get a BFP with this new protocol. Plus if you get AF soon we could possibly be due date buddies!

Was this your first Clomid cycle? I can't remember   I'm sure you'll get your BFP soon! I'm frustrated as well, I hate having do the fertility treatments and I hate it's not working.

I do have some good news.. A week ago DH and I decided to take a break from fertility treatments. AF just started this afternoon, DH and I decided that we'll do one more IUI cycle then take a little break before moving onto IVF.

I'm glad your appointment went well
This doctor sounds good, he sounds like he knows what he's doing. I'm glad your cycle will be monitored. I think it's silly when doctors don't monitor Clomid cycles.

**Baby Dust**

I hope this cycle works out for you!
Dropping just a little bit of weight can also help too. I didn't O on my own before I got pregnant with my daughter, after I had her I lost over 70 pounds and my cycles have been pretty regular, I O on my own for the most part.

So my bloodwork came back

My AMH is 14, which according to their values is good

My TSH is 5.6 which is really bad, I started Synthroid .75mcg

Back to Met 2k, My AIC is 8

There labs value for Testosterone is up to 48 is normal, mine is 78
He still wants me to take provera to bring on my period and do Femara etc, but I am so discouraged. I did the DST test and it came back normal, so I dont have cushings, but I havent gotten a LH or FSH draw in 2-3 years, so thats the next step, I know with PCOS that AMH might not be a good indicator.

Thoughts or questions? I am 28 and the AMH being good is the only thing keeping me positive.

I'm very jealous of your AMH level.. My level is normal for a 35 year old, I'm only 23

I've never had any issues with my Thyroid but I'm sure the medication will help. As far as your testosterone goes, maybe it'll go down once you go back on Metformin? Metformin helped lower my testosterone, before mine was always in the 70's-80's now its 41.

So 14 is good then?

How should I respond to 5 mg of femara and 10,000 hcg?

Should I be optimistic about this news?

Also lurked on your topics, praying for you and for your DH to improve. IVF is a big step, even if your able to financially able to handle it, I have doubts for myself handling it emotionally. It is huge!

Pcos is a bitch.

I think you should be very optimistic! From the chart and other fertility forums I'm on I know 7 or higher is very good. I don't know much about thyroid issues but that and your testosterone seem to be the only problem and I'm sure they both can be treated.

I'm not sure how'll your respond to the Femara but I think it'll probably be successful for you, at least ovulation wise.

We really want to hold off on IVF if we can. Most of our savings for a house will be used for IVF. DH picked up a second job so we can keep saving and get to our goal of owning a home in 3 years. We want to put over 20k down, I want the house of my dreams. I'm self employed right now, I'm trying to help save up for our house. If we don't get pregnant within the next 3 years we plan to buy our house and adopt a child out of foster care. I'd love to adopt a newborn but both DH and I agree that adopting a foster child is best. There's so many older children in the system who need love and family.

I hope you get your dream house AND your baby! You deserve it! We hope to own a house this time next year but my savings right now is going to what will be my maternity leave (hoping a month at least) I'm a nanny so I get paid very well but it's under the table. And I haven't asked but I'm pretty sure they won't pay for my maternity leave so I'm trying to put money away so I can survive not working for a month.
