re: *OFFICIAL* Fertility Treatment Thread (Clomid, IVF, IUI)

I'm not pregnant. I've taken tons of pregnancy tests, and I don't have any symptoms. DH and I talked, we're both upset about another failed IUI cycle.. We decided to take a break from IUI for a couple months, after our fertility treatment break we'll try IUI once more then move onto IVF later into next year.. I'm not too happy about all the waiting but we're getting too upset over the failed cycles.

I'm also skipping the blood pregnancy test this cycle.

Aww girl, I'm so sorry *hugs* if you don't mind me asking, what's your hesitation with just pushing forward with IVF?

Medical marijuana is legal in our state and you can have a plant of your own for your use. This law makes that illegal. I am all for making money off of this. But there is a three tier system just like alcohol. It is taxed 25% at each tier. It's going to be so expensive for those that really benefit from it. The limit in peoples blood is also really high. Since everyone metabolizes it a little differently I worry that people will be getting duid's when they shouldn't be. I think the limit is 8 (whatever the measurement is) It's also still against federal law so you can still get in trouble. Although it's minor so I doubt most people doing it in the comfort of their home would have any problems. Also if you are caught sharing it's illegal. You can't pass a joint according to the law.

There are several things wrong with it. Hopefully it all gets ironed out eventually.

I don't really have any hesitations anymore but DH does. When we were told that our child would be at higher risk for Autism because of IVF DH decided against IVF. He has Aspergers and it's made his life very difficult, he wants to reduce the risk as much as possible for our child to have Autism. It doesn't mean he won't love our child if it did have Autism.. DH went into a deep depression for years because of his Aspergers, he hated himself because he was different. He doesn't want that for his child.

Also we'll have to use most of our savings to buy a house for IVF. Right now DH is working two just to save up just in case he changes his mind about IVF. I'm sure he'll probably end up changing his mind but it'll be a while.

OMG I've never wanted AF to come so badly!!
I'm waiting for it to come and I will be having a ultrasound on CD 1-3 to start my new protocol. I'm just hoping that it comes on monday and not any sooner unless they can get me in on monday since I'm off. My schedule at work is super busy next week and IDK when I'm going to have time to take off otherwise. The only available time will be after I take my LO to the DR wednesday and then I have to be back at work before 4pm to see 2 clients.
There is like no other place to put it on my calendar. I hate that my life revolves around a calendar. I called my RE's office and asked them if I could go ahead and schedule it and she said no wait until the day your period starts. OK like I can't come there on their schedule- only on mine. They don't get that sometimes. So keep your fingers cross everything times right! I know that I have a chance conceiving triplets with this new protocol with IUI, but I really don't care as long as I can complete my family.

dr appointment sucked. i went in and the nurse was like we never had you come in before hand to do bloodwork did we.. umm nope. so today all i got to do was have my blood taken . i go in on monday at 10 to actually have my damn appointment. i live 5 min away . i could have went in at any point in the last week but nope.. someone didnt check !

I really hope so too. If the IUI doesn't work I'm pretty sure I can talk him into IVF! He said he wants to try two more IUIs before moving onto IVF.. We'll see what happens.

I'm sorry hun. Just keep a plan in mind. That's what keeps me sane.
