re: *OFFICIAL* Fertility Treatment Thread (Clomid, IVF, IUI)

How is everybody doing?? Where are you at in your cycle? Are you getting ready to start treatments, if so when? How are all the pregnancies going?

We are doing good. I have been having such an emotional week, so it's been hard but I'm trying to stay as strong as I can. When I feel sad, I try to reach out and talk about it, because I feel like talking about it makes me feel better, but it's hard when no one understands.

I will text my SIL because she's been really supportive, and I'll vent to her. We have a text messaging thing that shows when the person reads the message you just sent, so somedays I'll see that she's read what I sent her but she won't say anything back.... then 3 hours later, she'll text me talking about something going on in her life. It's just frustrating.

DH opened up the other night, and talked about how nervous he is, not really for the surgery but more for the fact if they will find anything.

It's extremely hard to stay positive but I need to for my sanity, and to keep me sane until the end of November... Hopefully it comes fast.

Okay totally off topic but I have been doing cheap DIY projects to keep my mind busy and I'm making a chalkboard... Should I hang it in the kitchen or in our sunroom which will be where our Xmas tree is... I'm gonna have the chalkboard say merry Christmas and all that stuff around the holidays... Odd question I know lol

I can understand your SIL not texting back right away. Sometimes I'll read a text then I need to get something done. I totally forget about the text until later.. I do find it odd that she'll ignore what you say. Maybe she doesn't know what to say?

I'm sure they'll find sperm. From what I was told, in most cases they find a good amount of sperm. I don't know a lot about the procedure but it sounds like they'll find sperm. I'm keeping you guys in my prayers.

Yeah I'm sure she might not know what to say. Sometimes she's really supportive and what not but other times I think it's just because she has no clue what it's like to go through this.

Thank you I appreciate it. It's just that "what if" that gets into my head and gets me down.

Make two! Keep one in the kitchen and up the other one up for Christmas.

I can't wait for Christmas. I'm almost all the way done shopping for DD.

Me too! I love Christmas. I love decorating and finding cheap DIY holiday stuff   your on the ball with shopping! I should of started early. In both my family and DHs family, we do a name pick so we don't have to buy for everyone except the kids. I love spoiling my nieces and nephews haha

Before my daughter was born we hardly celebrated holidays. Since we've had our daughter, I've gone all out every holiday. Christmas is by far my favorite! I start decorating the week of or before Thanksgiving. LOL

I think this year we might tell DH's family we didn't have the money to shop for everybody. I'm tired of buying gifts for people that we only see once a year, we're not close with them. We'll shop for DH's parents and sister but not for his extended family.

Please share any Christmas DIY decorations!

I agree with you! I can not afford to shop for everyone. Especially going through IVF I won't even have the energy lol

My favorite thing right now for my Christmas decorations is my kitchen table centerpiece. I have a large glass cylinder bowl, I think they call them hurricane bowls. I wrapped yarn around it in different patterns and then spray painted it with white spray paint but just making it frosty then I take off the yarn and there's a pretty design. I put a candle in the middle and fill it with small different color bulb ornaments (I use a flame less candle)

I'm on my phone so I don't have a picture but ill add some tonight   I have a lot more stuff ill share too.

Freaking out today! I'm 6wk3d today and have been having some cramping after i would take my doses of prometrium which i've been told was normal. Well today i've been having different cramps, more like a sharp cramp and towards my left side. Well i know it can't be an ectopic pregnancy on the left because i don't have my left tube. I called the clinic today, had to wait about 2 hours for the nurse to finally call me back. Once i told her what was going on she went to speak to the dr right away. They said they want me in tomorrow at 9:45 to do a scan. Hopefully they will be able to see something and tell me i'm ok! I MAY actually get to see my beans heartbeat tomorrow! I'm just praying everything is well

Thanks, i'm just so nervous. DH can't make it to the appointment so my mum is going to come with me. I'm going to have her video the us screen so we can show hubby so long as everything is good. Every little twitch in there and i freak out. I just really want this to be my time!!

When you get the chance post a picture! I'm trying to get crafty! LOL I'm terrible at everything I do. The month we got our BFP with my daughter I decided to take up crocheting so I could make by baby a cute baby blanket, hat and booties. I tried throughout my pregnancy but I failed at it. I have a few things that look easy on my pinterest. I think I'll just make MIL and SIL homemade gifts. Something for the home and something having to do with my daughter.

Speaking of pinterest, I love the recipes on there. Once a week to once every two weeks I plan out meals.

Maybe it's ligament pains? I'm not sure if they can happen this early in pregnancy. Up until 8-ish weeks I had a lot of cramping. Keep us updated about your appointment.

I'll for sure let u guys now how things go. I can go a few hours with no pain and finally think its gone but then it starts up again, so who knows what it is!!
