I'm doing okay. I had a super long day yesterday at my other job (I'm an RN consultant at an assisted living facility). The med aid looked like she was about ready to throw up from a migraine headache so I did her job in addition to my own. And dealing with my mega horrible boss and the owner. I wanted to slap her... she dropped a patient's chart she wanted me to read literally on top of the one I had open and was reading. Ugh.... Today will be better, I'm going to get my hair done in a bit. Hopefully after I finish this paper.

I'm in the process of dumping them! I'm trying to get answers today. I should get some since the head nurse will be in. The phone call will go two ways 1) "Well, what nurse left you a voice mail? I can't help you unless I know." or 2) "You should have called back last week to set up an appointment."

I was reading reviews for my RE's office, everybody who gave them a low rating has the same issues as me.

Geeze! What a day! Somebody from my due date group is also an RN at a assisted living facility, she has some stories like that..

LOL I bet she does   It's tough when the owner/administrator is not nurse... They think they know how to run a business and want to direct medical care. Not their place!

That was lovely phone call.

I called and only talked to the lady at the front desk.
I said "I'm calling to see what exactly is going on with this cycle? I also need to set up an appointment for blood work and an ultrasound. I was wondering if you could tell me how long I take the birth control for? When do we start treatments?"
Her::" "Well we left you a message on the 4th."
Me: "I know you did my phone is missing, I called last week to find out what's going on but nobody told me anything."
Her: "Take your birth control until Thursday, then come in on Friday for blood work and an ultrasound. Can you come in at 9 Friday?"
Me: "Yes I can. So what happens after I stop the birth control? Do I wait for AF? When will we be starting treatments?"
Her: "Just for future reference you can always see what's next on your patient portal."
Me: "I know that's why I knew to take the birth control, and that I was calling for blood work and an ultrasound."
Her: "Oh okay! Have a good day!" *Click*

So my questions never got answered

Wow, what a bitch- pardon my French! Are you gonna start looking elsewhere for now while waiting on a referral.. Or just keep pushing on?

Totally random but I can't wait for Saturday.

My best friend is planning a girls night for my birthday. In the morning she's gonna chop my hair off (don't worry we are both licensed hairstylists lol) I can't stand it long anymore- it probably reaches the middle of my back but I'm chopping it to my shoulders. I wear it up too often and it's breaking.

Then we are all going to dinner and then a drag show! Hahaha should be fun!

After the phone call I had, I'm going to.

Reading a review, somebody did IVF. They never called back to tell the lady if she was pregnant or not. She had to log on to her patient portal to see the pregnancy test was negative. When I found out I was pregnant with my daughter I found out online before anybody called me.

Last May I needed medication for my IUI cycle and progesterone. The lady at the front desk told me I didn't need to worry about ordering medication. I was on CD4 and time when the medicine would be ordered it'd be too late to take. I got off the phone almost started crying, DH heard some of the conversation but asked what exactly was said. He called them and asked why they weren't sending in the medication. The lady at the front desk lied to him and said "we told your wife that we're sending the medication into the pharmacy now." About two hours later one of the nurses calls me to confirm what medicine needs to be ordered. A few people who rated my RE has that problem as well.

At the end of May my husband was put on Clomid to help with his sperm. We were told that he would take the Clomid until September and repeat the S/A. In July the nurse called me and said "So, did your husband decided if he wanted to take the Clomid yet?" I said "He's been taking it since the end of may when he got his prescription. He's almost out of Clomid actually.. Could you give him a refill." The nurse said "Well, our records show that he didn't take the Clomid prescription. How could he be almost out of Clomid? I don't think he's taking it right." I had to explain how much Clomid he was given and how it doesn't add up to the amount of time he has to be on it, then she sent in another prescription for him..
