I'm getting an abdominal u/s next week. It's yet to be scheduled. I'm really hoping I can get in on Monday... otherwise it won't be until Thursday or Friday because I work 12 hour shifts on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Lindsey, if there's even a chance that it's ectopic I'd be in the ER. At 7.5 weeks, I would start to worry about tube rupture. I know it's probably not that likely since you have no pain, but...at least you could get a transvaginal and abdominal US. I REALLY don't like how they're dicking you around! I think I'd go tomorrow so it'd be a 48 hour beta.

I've never heard if either of those. I finally got toradol when I went to the hospital last night and it work really well. It's a strong anti-inflammatory.

Yeah I think I'd be doubled over in pain if it was ectopic. I definately don't want to lose a tube. And I'm really debating on a 48 hour beta. My OB said to wait 2 weeks... but then again they said to do nothing for 2 weeks at first. Hmm...

I hate OBs for this reason, Before they ruled it a chemical pregnancy I had a pelvic exam and U/S at my demand because I wasnt going to suffer and have things get worse.

Your an RN too, you know what can happen, use your judgement, but if it were me, I would demand them to do this right.

I dont take things outside the narcotic range, due to my asthma, those pain meds work really well, but the side effects are iffy.

Hey ladies!!!! Sorry I haven't been able to keep in touch and up to date with where everyone is. We took this weekend to have some us time.

When I was pregnant (for the short time) I stupidly signed up and paid for a prenatal yoga session, lol oops! I talked to the instructor and she's gonna let me use it as a credit towards a session when I am pregnant. But it makes me miss taking classes like I use to (I do it on my own at home now) so I may get back into it to relieve some stress.

Hope everyone is doing good!

My plan is to go for the U/S and go from there depending on what the results are. Honestly.... I feel pregnant... anything could be the case though... I just want to know for sure what's going on.

I'm confused. You're on a Clomid cycle, right? If yes, how often does your Dr. have you go in for monitoring? I guess I'm just surprised on a medicated cycle they are leaving it up to you to figure out when you O? Wouldn't bloodwork and ultrasounds eliminate a lot of the OPK headaches for you? I give you credit because I'd go crazy trying to figure those out everyday...

I am supposed to start Chlomid in a cycle and my doc is not going to monitor me either. He told me to start having sex on day 10 and to have it every other day. That's it. Not every day. To be frank, my doc does not even believe in Chlomid for me. He prescribed it since I wanted to give the last shot on my own before going IVF route. I do have ClearBlue little machine and the strips for it. I have been using it for a year. It tells my ovulation day. Sort of easy too, since i don't have to visually compare the lines. The lines are there, though.... in case I want to see for myself.
