Well I had my post op today with my OBGYN. He says I had no endometriosis so it's a mystery why I have so much pain. He said he thinks I have a hostile uterus and its like toxic and killing my eggs. And if that's the case I will have to do IVF. So he said I need to be on birth control until the RE figures out what they're gonna do for me. So I'm gonna start it is soon as AF comes next week.

Birth control makes a hostile uterus worse, you REALLY need a second opinion.

Thank you so much. Just doin' what I gotta do, kwim?

Drugs are pretty much the same as with a fresh cycle, minus the stims. For FETs I start with BCP at CD 1 which continue for about 2-3 weeks, depending on my RE's schedule. I then take Lupron for a few weeks and at some point begin estradiol as well. About a week before transfer I stop Lupron and start progesterone injections. As for monitoring, I have three ultrasounds - a baseline and then two suppression checks. My ovaries are AWESOME at being lazy-ass chumps, so suppression has never been an issue for me. Others might require additional scans/blood work.

This is one of my old calendars.

ETA forgot that somewhere in there are oral steroids, antibiotics, baby aspirin, and valium for the transfer.

Got it! Thank you! I think I can handle that if need be. Stims/egg retrieval was the most unpleasant part for me... avoiding that is half the battle

Well I'm not doing anything until I go see my RE in a month. My OBGYN was just talking possibilities if what could be happening to my eggs. He doesn't pretend to anything about how to treat it. But he says endometriosis can create a toxic uterine environment. But I have no idea. Somewhere my eggs are getting list.

Thanks. I'm okay... hanging in there. I can't believe that after 2 weeks (from the date I started spotting), I'm still bleeding. It's getting lighter but geez! How are you?

Hey!   Hope you're doing as well as can be! As for the bleeding, with my mc I had one massive bleed with HUGE clots, and a couple smaller ones over the next week after. But, it took my numbers forever to come down!

There's no more clots... there hasn't been for a few days. I hope it doesn't take forever for my numbers to come down. I was only 5 weeks along... My levels on 2/15 was 588, 2/17 was 575, 2/22 was 395. I'm going for another draw tomorrow. I hope my numbers are low. I POAS (OPK) and it was negative so I'm hoping that means my hcg levels are lower...

I was 6-7 weeks along (don't know exactly bc I wasn't TTC and didn't even know until I was miscarrying, scan showed sac measuring a little over 6 wks) and bled so bad when it started that my levels were down to 59 before I left the ER. It took almost a month to get to 9... It was ridiculous!

Oh still sore and recovering from my unnecessary surgery a week ago. I was having a lot of pain so I figured it was my endometriosis but turns out I had none. Yuck bleeding for two weeks
