Basically he has higher than normal amounts of sperm that are immature or sticking together. I think it has to do with ratio. So if he had a lower sperm count it would be a problem. I should just trust the doc!

Well, I'm typically VERY against porn but after two mornings of him not being able to finish during actual sex I was at a "do whatever it takes" place. I personally wasn't willing to lose this cycle over it. DH is 33 and never really has problems. It's just that it was messing with his head, and it being sooo early in the morning. (He's always had a problem finishing in the mornings.) They were nice enough to let me bring him a cup here to our office and I let him watch a video online. Ordinarily I would have helped instead, but DS was sick this morning and so home from school and with us. (So, I took DS to get some bfast while he was collecting.) Anyway, I don't necessarily like that it happened that way, but I'm glad I went about it the way I did. They did my collapse US after the IUI and it looks like I ovulated last night. So, if we would have had to wait til morning, it may have been too late.

I agree you do what you gotta do!!! Excited for you   Typically DH has a really hard time if I say we have to do it now. But we have the opposite problem. Morning is great. By evening we are both pooped and ready to pass out.

Yeah, I'm just glad to have today over with so we can have fun sex again!  

Well today is 14dp my first IUI and the HPT came out with a BFN. I spoke with the doctor today and they had me go in for bloodwork since AF hasn't shown. They are going to call me tomorrow and let me know what's going on. We'll see what happens! Since this is the first go for us, do you know what they look for in the bloodwork to see if you're pregnant?

They'll do a quantitative HCG. In other words how much HCG you have in your blood, number-wise. It's possible you still don't have enough for a HPT to pick up yet which is why they do bloodwork for an exact number.

I did, along with basically "paleo" eating. I lasted about 3 weeks before the holidays began and I didn't have the willpower to make it through them without eating all the yummies... I've been meaning to start back, but just haven't been in the right eating mindset. I'll probably try to start again next week. It's just difficult because since I work for/with my husband we both get home so late in the evenings and its hard to cook dinner. We do well with breakfast, lunch most days but dinner, not so much. No excuse, I know, but I would do better if I were at home.

Well got an apt with the new RE March 29th. They said for the first consultation I don't even get to talk to the Dr. I have to meet with the NP. That's a load of crap!

That does suck. The first appointment was the only one I've actually met with the doctor on this cycle. That's where they figure out the game plan normally, I thought. Sorry.

Ya that's what it was like the first time I went to my other RE. She looked over my medical history before I came and I talked with the dr in her office and told her exactly what I wanted to do. I'm driving 51/2 hrs to go to this apt. I hope they're not gonna waste my time. The only reason I'm switching is bc my parents just moved back there. So I will have a place to stay when I go. This one wants me to have my medical records in hand when I come and they will go through them with me.

this is 7th round of clomid since nov 2011. on 100mg now, gotten pregnant twice on it but miscarried at 5w and 5w6d both times
