Is the cramping tolerable? Or is it different from your regular cramps?

It's tolerable but more intense than earlier today. I'm wondering if this means that the cyst is shrinking or something. I haven't had a cyst before so I have no idea if this is normal or not.

I had one before, and I had BAD cramping to the point where I couldn't stand. I went to the ER and they said my cyst either rupture or I was constipated lol. But I had AF at the time, and my flow increases so I was thinking it was my cyst.

AF was very painful this cycle. I take it if my cyst ruptures I'll know..

Hopefully tomorrow I'll get some answers when I call my RE tomorrow.

Quoting Mrs.O♥:" So, I think we are going to go with the November surgery for DH, instead of the October one. We discussed ... [snip!] ... 28th (and successful) right? Maybe not....I don't know lol. Anyways, I'm out of work early (yay!) Off to walk the dog."

How soon after the surgery can you start your protocol? You should be able to start BCPs ahead of time just in case.

Quoting PeanutButter*superkink*:" hello everyone this week i start my first round of clomid and start tracking my BBT. and on day 28 i go see my dr, im excited but nervous! any advice or tips? did it work the first time for you?"

I've never taken Clomid, only Femara and I didn't chart while I was taking it because it threw my temps off. Good luck with it!

Quoting Mrs.O♥:" Don't feel stupid, I asked too... They want to surpress my ovaries because making them hyper ovulate, ... [snip!] ... ovulate, they want to give them a break before working real hard. I believe thats right, someone can correct me if I'm wrong."

That is true and also from what I understand the suppression will prevent cysts from forming and most importantly helps in having more follicles available for stims. So that answers my question. I'm getting so excited for you!

Yah that will be like an every other day ultrasound and blood work.

Makes perfect sense to me. LOL I'm such an IVF nerd.

Quoting Vicarious★:" I didn't finish the show but from what I watched she was diagnosed with PCOS. My doctor is one of the best but his staff sucks! All of these problems are because of his staff, not him! "

Yup that's how it is with me. We must go to the same clinic, lol.

Quoting Mrs.O♥:" I don't know if I want to start the pill exactly 2 weeks before his surgery, because I dont want to ... [snip!] ... they are certrain they found sperm. this way if they don't, I can just stop taking the pil instead of starting the injections."

It doesn't hurt anything to start the Lupron and then cancel. Especially when insurance is covering the drugs, haha.

ETA actually I take that back. I forget sometimes that with my ovaries taken out of the equation things might be different. Can be very different, actually. Definitely get your RE's advice on that.

Sorry I'm no help.   I've never had a cyst.

I'm updating the OP right now, I'm going to make it nice and fancy.. I'm going to make a little area for our TTC grads. Do you want me to include how you got pregnant (IUI, IVF, Clomid)?
