That's awesome you've got a date now! And I totally see where your husband is coming from. I'd want to give plenty of notice as well... keep work happy! Especially if he wants to take time off with you when the baby comes

That's exactly what he said   He's really close with his boss, he works in a small mechanic auto body shop, and there's only 2 mechanics... him and his boss lol so it should work out okay if he gives his boss some notice.

Yeah! I called to get an estimate to see when it would be if I was to send the check this week, and that's the day she said was available, so I'm hoping we can schedule it for then!! I'l start my BCP a week or two before. I hope so, what a nice christmas surprise that would be!

They want to surpress my ovaries because making them hyper ovulate, they want to give them a break before working real hard.

Oh I see. So for a time line when do they extract the eggs? a few weeks?

I have my paperwork here right next to me, and it's like reading calculus LOL, I don't understand much, because the dates aren't set in stone. But this is what I THINK will happen...

I'll be on birth control for 21 days, 14 days into taking the pill I'll start Lupron, I'll be overlapping the pill and the Lupron for 7 days. Then I'll be instructed when to stop the pill, and I guess I'll get my period. Then it says I'll get a supression check (i'm just reading off this page so bare with me), which means they check to see if the ovaries are adequately supressed on Lupron.

When "surpressed" I'll, then be instructed on when to start Gonal F injection, usually 5 days from supression check. 5 days after I start that, it says Frequent monitoring begins (Oh yay!) ... seriously this is all crazy to me. Then, (don't know specific date) I take the HCG trigger shot, at a specific time. It doesn't say here but I think I only have a day after the trigger shot where I have to go in for egg retrieval.

Holy crap, does that make sense? Probably not, because it doesn't to me lol.

So approximately 1 month or so with the drugs...
And then you do the transfer.... I wonder how long it would take for you to get a BFP after the transfer?

Yeah, I just tried to roughly calculate it with that I knew, and it looks like I'd have the transfer the week of Christmas.... smurf, I hope my RE is open that week! Once I get my transfer, I'm already 5dpo

I didn't finish the show but from what I watched she was diagnosed with PCOS.

My doctor is one of the best but his staff sucks! All of these problems are because of his staff, not him!

Would it be the week of Christmas if you start the pill 2 weeks before his surgery?!
